dc.description.abstract In general, the invention relates to novel bioactive pentapeptides from heat stabilized defatted rice bran having anti-cancer, anti-obesity, anti-Alzheimer and other health-promoting activities proteins. The bioactive pentapeptides can be incorporated into pharmaceutical, nutraceuticals and food compositions having at least the bioactive pentapeptide as an active ingredient.
